Okay, where to start...Well, I'm a senior in high school and I try to live my life by my own standards. i know what I like and I know what I want. I have ambitious goals for college and my career, but if you never try to go after something, how will you ever know whether or not you are able to do it? I have two things in my life that I absolutely couldn't live without. One is my friends because they keep me going when I want to quit and they help keep me from taking things too seriously. The other is my family. As dysfunctional as some of them are, they are my rock. They just mean the world to me and I would truely be lost in this topsy-turvy world without them. I've undergone a lot of changes in the past 6 months - year, but all of them for the better. I've learned a lot about myself and grown as a person. I hope someday to be able to look back on my life and smile, knowing that I have no regrets. To be honest, regrets are a waste of time. Why worry about what could have been done differently, when you take what you learned and continue living? I'm a very strong believer that laughter is the cure for anything! I'm a pretty easy person to get along with and love nothing more than to get to know interesting and just good people. Music is my life. I'm not musically inclined by any means, but you'll never find me doing something where I don't have some form of music playing! I'm a runner and will have run for 3 of my 4 years in high school, and I wouldn't trade the memories I"ve made for anything! I'm not a beach bum really, but I absolutely LOVE going to the beach at night/sunset, just to think. I think it'd be safe to say that it's one of my favorite places on earth. It's great to go and be alone and be able to just relax. LOL I'm not really a shy person and welcome a good debate, so if there is anything you want to talk about, please feel free to let me know! My Dreams
I've had many dreams throughout my life and there's really only one that has been a constant and never changed. That is my dream to help people. Not neccessarily to 'save the world', but just to be able to have a positive impact on others. That's why I want to major in Journalism/Communications and minor in Political Science. I'll spend the first part of my career as a political writer and then I want to become a political advisor. It's sounds pretty ambitious, but you only have one life to live. Why not spend it doing something that you love, no matter how impossible it may sound?

My Movies
I like just about any type of movie. Some of my favorite movies were The Notebook, Pirates of the Carribean (1 & 2), The Lord of the Rings trilogy, West Side Story, and Fiddler on the Roof. I like comedies, dramas, "chick-flicks" (after all, I am a chick!), animated movies, and I'm trying to get more into horror movies. I'm pretty much open to anything!
My Places
I don't know how I'll do it, but someday, I'm going to see all of Europe. I'm mainly interested in Ancient Europe...Like Rome, Greece, Venice, all the places that have real history behind them. I'm going to see the Colosseum (can't spell), the Roman Baths, Stonehenge...and the list goes on and on!
