I am a stay at home mom - my youngest two have just started kindergarten, and so I am exploring new ground!!  I love swimming; walking; cycling; being with my kids; and just plain old relaxing!  My oldest daughter lives in Canada with her husband, and hopefully we'll be visiting soon! 

I have three books out, on Amazon.com - two children's and one adult - all poetry, although one of the children's books is a 'story'.  I love writing poetry, actually, I just love to read!! 

I love movies, mostly comedy, or action adventure, but have been stuck with Dora or similar for a while!  As the kids get older, the movies change, so I'm looking forward to moving on!!

The Mirror

Warm and gentle,
loving and inviting.
Reaching out
to pull them
ever closer,
gladly dividing her
warmth and love,
and humor.

Sharing her self
with devotion,
to all her beautiful
children…
Needing so much
for them to
embrace the love that
she gives.

Her spirit is pure
and forgiving.
Her legacy,
rich and endearing.
Her countenance
radiant for all
to see – except
the one in the mirror.
