I was a Navy brat. My folks were originally from Wyoming but I was born in Hawaii at Hilo. I lived with my 4 brothers and 4 sisters all over the world. I was one of the 2 other sibs that didn't go into the family business...military. But instead gravitated to my grandparents' bohemian lifestyle as artists, ex-hippies, living on a farm in Mendicino California. I went to school at UC Berkeley and graduated with an MFA with an emphasis on Latin American Murals and currently own an art house in Los Angeles Ca. I'm here to see what others have to offer and keep my creativity alive. But I will not play the popularity game. I critique but I'm not a dick about it.

I work so that I can support my surfing.
Dreams
My dream is to surf a 25' foot wave 9' feet more than my personal best and live to embellish about it. Ultimately, I want to put a team together so that they can do the heavy lifting and I can tell them what to do in between sets.
Music
Would you believe that I am a surfing PUNK ROCKER. I surf to the RAMONES.
Movies
The only movies that mean anything to me are the WESTERNS. They were the only thing my dad, my grandad, and I didn't argue about or during.
People
My wife of 15 years, was and is my partner in crime, from high school to our last wave; and our triplets caught their first wave at the age of 10; my brudda's&sistas are my lifeline; mommie, & granmommie are my rox...the women in my family out live the men 3 to 1 and by 20 years. So I'll be dead and surfing the clouds around 55.
Places
The only continent I haven't set foot on is Antarctica.
