THE SIGNATURE DRESS
Designing this dress was more than just a contest, for me, it became an inspiration, a sort of gift for those who have either lost or won battles to Cancer. I wanted this dress to be a sort of testimonial in movement. I especially designed the Swarovski crystal idea to represent tears of either joy or sorrow.
The names entered in a drawing in my opinion, is a perfect marketing plan to bring money for the Susan B. Komen Foundation as well.

THE LITTLE PINK DRESS
This design was based on the perfume shape of Mariah's bottle. I especially love the swooping back chiffon from which is attached (in the shape of the cancer ribbon theme) a back necklace made of Swarovski Crystals. This same ribbon design has been applied to the shoe fronts. I tried to establish a balance Mariah Carey's personality with what a Susan B. Komen theme would compliment.
