Hello folks and fellow bloggers,
My name is Lindsey G. Let's see, what to say? I am a 22-yr old Virgo, who likes to read, take long walks on the beach and watch the sunset bring joy into my heart. Just kidding, but I do like to read. And I don't have anything against beaches, walking or sunsets. I also like to write and am trying to get more involved in politics. I'm thinking of abandoning the Dems for the Indies, only b/c I don't feel it necessary to be aligned with either party, one way or the other. To sum things up, I'm kind of a media potatoe-reading mags or novels/books, watching the latest salacious gossip on ET regarding my least favorite celebs, and surfing the net. My pet peeves? Poor grammar/spelling, body odor and fried ocra-bad smells make me gag!

Dreams
- Get my passport and travel around the world. I want to travel to Canada, India, Japan, China, Egypt, Ethiopia, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Mexico, London, France, Germany, Eastern Europe, Greece, Turkey, United Kingdom, Italy, Switzerland, Portugal, Spain, Brazil, the Caribbean, Jamaica, Argentina, Cuba, Australia. Plus, the other states in America like Alaska, Hawaii, California, New Mexico, Utah, Washington, Oregon, New York, Illinois, the Carolinas, the Virginias, the Plain States, etc. I want to travel to see the places I have only ever seen on televison or read about in books. I just feel like I've been in Georgia all my life (even though I haven't).
- I dream of graduating college with two degrees- a B.A. in English and a B.A. in Journalism or Communications. I even hope to return to grad school and get my masters in English.
- I dream of working for any of my favorite magazines in New York (or one of the few in Chicago) like New York, Vogue, Vanity Fair, Lucky, Marie Claire, Glamour, Men's Vogue, Conde Nast Traveler, Bon Appetit, Domino, Blueprint, Esquire, Details, Chicago, the list could go on...
- I dream of having a successful or even minutely successful career as a writer, although I'm not quite sure how I would determine success at this juncture. But I think it includes being published in some noted rags, perhaps even authoring a book or two. I don't know yet. All I know is that I will die a very happy woman if I can make writing/editing/publishing my bread-and-butter.
- I dream of owning a chocolate poodle named Maude.
- I dream of being able to own things- a home, for example.
- I dream of being able to read all the books that I own in my laughable 'library'. I own lots of books and I have read a majority of them, but for some reason, everytime I'm in the middle of reading a book, I have the sudden urge to buy more books! Weird.
- Last, but not least- I dream of genie.
