Description: In celebration of Black History Month we want you to tell us about that person who has had a profound impact on your life. It could be a politician, activist, actor, author or maybe it's your mom! If your icon is from a country other than America, that's okay too! Just write a blog, enter a photo with a description or create a video expressing the significance this person has had in your life. You could win a $500 scholarship or cash!
Rewards: Grand Prize: One winner, hand-selected by Brickfish from the top 100 entries ranked by score, will win a $500 scholarship or cash.
Most Viral: One winner, hand-selected by Brickfish from the top 50 Most Viral, will win a $250 scholarship or cash. Learn about Most Viral.
Reviewer/Voter Sweepstakes: One winner, who participates in the campaign by voting or reviewing, will win a $250 scholarship or cash.
How to Submit:
  1. Write a blog (include photos if you want), submit a photo with a description or create a video expressing the impact the person has had on your life.
  2. Click the Submit Entry tab and follow the steps provided.
  3. Tell friends to come to Brickfish and vote for your entry!
Requirements: Entries must be original work. Blogs must be no more than 1000 words and videos are not to exceed 2 minutes. Any entry that contains racial statements or are deemed derogatory in any way will be removed. Icons can be either African American or a black person from a different country.
Legal Notice: No purchase necessary. Open to anyone who is a resident of the United States or District of Columia that has access to the Internet, and is 14 or older at the time of entry.
