Description: Do you use your Windows PC every day? Do you love editing photos or making videos with your friends? Playing online games like Fallout 3 or Dawn of War? Video chatting on Messenger or browsing the Web with Internet Explorer? Do you think you should be the next Windows Brand Ambassador? Whether you’re studying or at work, gaming or sharing photos with friends and family, we want to know how Windows helps. We’re looking for 40 Windows Brand Ambassadors to share their experiences with Windows across the Web. Create a photo, video or blog that showcases why you use a PC and/or should be a Windows Brand Ambassador. Of all eligible entries, the top 200 highest scoring entries will advance to the Semi-Finals where they will be voted on by the community. From the top 100 highest scoring entries, the Windows Social Media Team will choose 40 Semi-Finalists as Windows Brand Ambassadors for the next 8 weeks. During the next 8 weeks, the 40 Windows Brand Ambassadors will receive weekly video challenges from Microsoft. Each week’s challenge will highlight a different way our Windows Brand Ambassadors use Windows every day. The winner of each challenge will be selected based how well they completed their challenge, creativity and on their ability to generate buzz across the Web. The Windows Social Media Team will choose one Windows Brand Ambassador as the grand prize winner, and will reward them with a trip for two to Microsoft's main campus in Redmond, WA and more!
Rewards: Call for Entries: The top 200 highest scoring entries will automatically advance to the Semi-Finals for the opportunity to become a Windows Brand Ambassador.

Semi-Finals

Windows Brand Ambassadors: 40 Semi-Finalists, selected by the Windows Social Media Team from the top 100 highest scoring eligible entries from the 200 Call for Entries Semi-Finalists, will receive recognition from Microsoft for their dedication to our products. The 40 Windows Brand Ambassadors will receive “virtual brand ambassador” badges to display on their personal social networking sites. In addition, Microsoft will feature the Windows Brand Ambassadors on its YouTube, Facebook and Twitter pages.

Windows Brand Ambassador Finals

8 Weekly Challenge Winners: During the Finals, the Windows Brand Ambassadors will receive weekly challenges from Microsoft. The finalist that best completes the challenge that week will receive a $100 gift certificate to Best Buy.

Grand Prize: The Windows Social Media Team will choose one Grand Prize winner, selected from the 40 Windows Brand Ambassadors, to receive a trip for two to Microsoft’s Main Campus in Redmond, WA and have the chance to meet members of the Windows Social Media Team and tour the Microsoft campus. The winner will also receive a HP Touchsmart Laptop and a Canon PowerShot 10 Megapixel Digital Camera to the capture the experience.
How to Submit:
  1. Create a photo, video or blog that showcases why you use a PC and/or should be a Windows Brand Ambassador.
  2. Click the Submit Entry tab and follow the steps provided to upload your photo and enter a description.
  3. Tell your friends to come to the campaign and vote for your entry!
Requirements: All entries must be the original creation of the participant. Entry must showcase why you use a PC and/or should be a Windows Brand Ambassador. Photos must include a relevant description up to 700 characters. Videos must be no longer than 2 minutes and blogs must be no more than 1,000 words. Entries must not make reference to any other competitive brands. Entries may only include Microsoft logos and trademarks as they are actually featured on Microsoft products that may be captured in your entry. Microsoft logos and trademarks may not be digitally inserted or superimposed on the entry. Enter as many unique entries as you’d like. Please do not submit duplicate entries. Any entry that violates copyright protection or the Brickfish Terms of Use will be disqualified and removed.
