I am a mother of 4, a grandmother of 6 and a great grandmother of 6. My husband and I were married for 49 years before he passed away. My youngest daughter lives with me now. i am a christian and attend all church services on a regular basis.

Interests

General

I love God and family and spending time with my family. I like gardening, being outside and God's nature. I love flowers and plants of all kinds and seeing them grow. I love watching birds and I always put out HummingBird feeders to entice Hummers.
I love Country and Blue Grass and some Fleetwood Mac and Eagles. I get the opportunity to meet many country stars due to the fact that I volunteer as an usher at the Dixie Performing Arts Center in my home town where they have concerts featuring many of the stars. For instance, name sakes- Dixie Carter and Hal Holbrooke are there occasionally.
I aslo do volunteer work at the local nursing home and love seeing the smiles on the seniors faces when we visit.
I enjoy my computer I received as a gift for earning my GED in 2007 when I was almost 79 years old. I am still learning.
