I dream of becoming a band director at a high school or middle school.  I want to be able to write music in ways that express my feelings and can touch other people in differents ways.  I love slow, beautiful songs that touch people and can make them cry sometimes.
I love being in music classes and it has always been my dream since I started band in 5th grade to be a director of bands.  Music is the second oldest known science in the history of the world.
To be a band director is not just about being on the stage and conducting, it's so much more.  It's connecting with musicians and being  a family.  Ask any high school band director and they will tell you his or her high school band is a family.
In order to be a band director I have to go to college for at least 4 years, most likely more than 5 or 6.  I have to take a lot of music classes that people would think are easy, but the truth is to be a music major is about the hardest major.  I am a freshman in college and I am already behind. It's really tough.
I will have to learn how to play every musical instrument.
Right now I am taking piano lessons and lessons on my perferred instrument, which is the baritone.
All the money I have spent on just music books is outrageous.  And I'm still going to be buying music books every now and then for certain music classes.
I love band and I want to be able to touch people through it.
My sisters keep telling me that it's too hard to do and I'll never make it. But I have a motto that I use that is my favorite WWE Superstar's motto.  It's John Cena and it is "Never Back down; never quit."
That motto just makes me keep on trying and not giving up.
Through a lot of hard work and dedication I believe I have what it takes to be the director I've always wanted to be and direct on the stage I call the grandest of the all... a director's podium.

It all started when I started listening to my iPod at church.  I was sitting at about the middle of of the congregation.  Since I was listening to it I couldn't hear anything and during the time the preacher was praying I was singing the song that was on my iPod.  I was so embarrassed.  There are about three hundred people at our church and after the preacher got done praying all their eyes went on me.  I hope that never happens again.  Lesson learned: Pay attention to the preacher and not your music!

I think our Basketball team has what it takes because we received a new coach last year.  Just from that we were sub-state champs.  Our teams motto is YGB, which means You Gotta Believe.  There is no "I" in team, you have to trust each member in your team to do their part.Scores don't make the team, belief in a team is the most powerful thing a team can have.

If there is one thing in this world I can't live without, it is my Motorola Razr.  I love it.  Not only do I use it for texting, which I'm sure every high school student is guilty of, I also use it for emergencies.  I live in one town and go to school in another.  That 60 miles 'round trip.  I have a family of 7 people and if something happens, someone will be able to get ahold of me to inform me.  The last phone that I had, I had it taken away and my sister tore it up.  Now that I have a RAZR, I love it and will never lose it and I can't live without it!

   I believe that I sould be President of the United States because I believe I have what it take to run the country.  I strongly believe that marriage should be between a man and a woman.  That our troops in Iraq are making progress and should finish the job.  I believe that there should be fences erected to keep illegal immagrants out of this nation.  I believe that the gas prices should go down andtaxes in some counties across the country should too.  I also belive that we should invest in other sources to stop global warming.  I also believe that abortion is wrong and it is considered killing and innocent child.

I think there should be a country music scholarship.  I think that there should be a quiz over country singers and you should have 10 seconds to answer the question.  Whoever gets the most right wins.
