Documented civilian deaths from violence
74,420 – 81,107
Deaths in each week from 2003–2007
Deaths per day from vehicle bombs
Deaths per day from gunfire / executions
This data is based on 11,150 database entries from the beginning of the war to 10 September 2007. The most recent weeks are always in the process of compilation and will rise further. Graphs are based on the higher number in our totals. Gaps in recording and reporting suggest that even our highest totals to date may be missing many civilian deaths from violence. See Recent Events for as yet unpublished incidents, and read About IBC for a better description of the project's scope and limitations. NOW TELL ME THAT THERE ISN'T A REASON TO STOP THE KILLING. iF YOU WILL VISIT THE RECENT EVENTS LINK, YOU WILL SEE NOTHING BUT TRAGETY. WE NEED TO STOP THIS. WE ARE WASTING OUR TIME. I THINK WE SHOULD GIVE THE GOVERNMENT A CHOICE: 1. WE NEED TO SEE SIGNIFICANT CHANGE IN WHAT WE ARE DOING 2. WE NEED TO LEAVE IT BE AND COME HOME!!!!!
