Great entry! Love to hear stories about ordinary people who accept others for who they are, regardless of race, religion, gender, sexual preference, etc. So many people in this world hate because of skin color, and our city just witnessed this AGAIN when a white boy shot a beautiful young black woman, who was actually a student at the same university I attend. She was simply driving through a fast food restaurant drive-thru, when he sped through there and shot her. Luckily, they caught him...and he is going to be paying the price for his heinous hate crime. However, when the motive was released to the press, I was appauled: It was because of a football game that he watched on TV, and he felt that the black players were being favored. How can one person be so ignorant and blame another innocent person for somebody else's mistakes?! I just don't understand it. So, KUDOS, to you for being kind-hearted and open to others, regardless of race!
