A person’s health is very important for themselves as well as for the people who love them. My advice isn’t limited to only women but also men and children as well. It is too often when doctors over look their patients. So my advice is that when you believe something is seriously wrong with your health you NEED to bring it up to your doctor and if they say that there isn’t anything to worry about then you NEED to be persistent with them and make sure they know you seriously believe there is something wrong. If they still don’t listen to you then find a different doctor. There are too many times when people have serious problems that could have been fixed in the early stages but weren’t because their doctor didn’t think anything of it. Also if a doctor gives you a prescription for something make sure you KNOW what you are taking and if you don’t think it is working then inform your doctor and quit taking it especially if the side effects are unbearable or worse then what the actual problem is. Then ask your doctor if there is another type of prescription that you may try. Just remember no one knows your body more than yourself, so be your own doctor!

Trust your own judgement. It took numerous appointments before we found about Hannah's diagnoses. Momma's know when something is not right. Thanks for this entry because it will help many. Jen

Thank you for this blog, I am going through this problem now and every doctor keeps telling me I'm fine. I don't feel fine and will use the time I have out of school to get some answers. I appreciate you sharing this with us.
