I see too many women today stressed out. I am one of these people in society who believe that we cannot change things in one day, but we can strive for a better future. I see so many of my co-workers, peers, and fellow classmates pulling their hair out over the smallest of things, and falling apart completely over larger obstacles in life. Life is full of obstacles, and like a river, we as people find ways to get around each bend, each crevice. We seem to flow effortlessly through struggles without giving ourselves the credit we deserve for our endeavors.

The best health secret I have ever received is to relax, breathe and take one step at a time through life. We cannot fix the world in a day and no day is the same as the next. To manage stress is to conquer it or stabilize it in a way that we can deal with it in a healthy setting. Personally, I have found music, writing, meditation, exercise and yoga to be some of the easiest ways to relieve a stressful day.

Women are the biggest worriers this world has ever known. This is a natural tendency we each hold inside of ourselves. The effects of leading a stress filled life can be more devastating to a woman’s health than we realize.

Stress has been linked to many different ailments that women experience. Tension headaches, backaches, and known to cause hormonal imbalances which can trigger even more problems, stress is something that every woman can afford to have less of. Heart disease is the number one killer of women, and stress can be a factor in this as it will cause blood pressure to rise and the heart to palpitate. Such a simple thing as the stress we deal with on a daily basis can turn out to give us a devastating fate if left unmanaged.
