I went to a Naturopathic seminar about 8 years ago and it changed my life. I began looking more closely at the ingredients in the beauty products I used. If I didn't know an ingredient or couldn't pronounce it, I'd look it up. I was astonished by what I found. So many harmful, artificial chemicals are in the beauty products that women use every day. Our skin is a sponge--everything that we put on our skin is absorbed into our body. One must look at a beauty product and the ingredients it contains as they would food--if you wouldn't eat it then don't put it on your skin! From that moment on, I took it upon myself to use only products that I knew would be good to not only my skin, but my body as a whole. This holistic view was by far the best piece of health advise I have ever received and has been my guiding principle ever since. Peace, love and natural beauty.

Kindness is an inner desire that makes us want to do good things even if we do not get anything in return. It is the joy of our life to do them. When we do good things from this inner desire, there is kindness in everything we think, say, want and do. ~~ Emmanuel Swedenborg

A study in the Washington Post says that women have better verbal skills than men. I just have one thing to say to the authors of that study: Duh. ~~~Conan O'Brien
