People are always telling you to be yourself, while they are trying to get you to conform to someone else's idea of what you should be.  As women, we need to do twice as much and go through so much to get there.  And the best piece of advice I have is to discover who you are and embrace it.  What makes us who we are is our heredity, our experiences, our trials and our good times.  It shapes our personality and what we bring in to other's lives.  The best way to be healthy and happy is to be confident in who you are and help others to do the same.  Everyone has their very own personality and energy and that's what makes life so much fun!  It doesn't matter if your stick thin or average weight, or if your forehead is to high, or your eyes are too far apart.  When you exhuberate inner confidence and inner beauty, all of the small things become beautiful.  The so called 'ideosyncrocies' become a definition of who you are and what makes you beautiful.  Thank you for reading my entry.  ~Bri. There she is... in all her rage and glory.

Wow this entry is super touching, I love it. I must say, girls who are confident are much more attractive and strong, at least that's what all my guy friends tell me haha

Just to clear some things up, by submitting this entry with a picture from my portfolio, I did not intentionally mean any harm. I did not mean to make anyone uneasy, and I DID NOOOOT mean to be contradictory in the slightest. I've been shipped around like luggage since I was born, moving 28 times, battled depression, personality, identity, and trust issues, and couldn't hold onto a relationship to save my life. But my mom was there beside me the entire way. I have been from every up and down of outer beauty, but my mom taught me that inner beauty is what makes you confident and poised, as well as truely beautiful. I have given up modeling as of late, and am studying to be a teacher and an inspiration to others. I student teach and help my kids with their own identity and social issues on a daily basis. I'm sorry if I offended anybody or made anybody uncomfortable. This is totally not for pity, but I've gotten a few reviews and emails and I wanted to clarify things :) Thank you for all your support!!!

You can’t keep people from having bad opinions about you, but you can keep them from being true.
