As a person that loves to check my e-mail, I have received many internet fraud websites. I remember the first one that I had received; it stated that I had just won one million European pounds. I was so excited that I wrote done the phone number, bought a phone card, and tried calling the phone number several times. I did not know that it was a fraud until one of the manager’s at my job told me that it was a fraud. Afterwards, I searched for the information on the website through Google. The first thing that popped up was SCAM! I was so shocked because the website, that in the e-mail as a link, seemed so real. It was saying that Toyota Car Promotions offers awards all over and that anyone can win. I was so shocked to find out that I had almost been scammed. Luckily I had not e-mailed my bank information to the address as I was asked, or I would have really been in a heap of trouble.

Glad you had the instinct not to send your bank information! I can't believe how shameless some people can be in ripping other people off.

So it was a good thing that you did not keep it to yourself because if you had not said anything to your boss, you would have probably gotten ripped off.
