I have bought tons and tons of stuff from ebay, because it is cheaper and you pretty much get what you pay for. I actually was not expecting this one incident to happen. I had decided to buy a blowdryer/straightner for my friend. She had just broken hers, and her birthday was also rolling around. We are also both in college and funds are...well to put it frank extremely hard to come by. So any who I decide to purchase her one. It was a detatchable blowdryer, which included the straightner attatchment piece. It had been selling on ebay for about 2 weeks before I decided to jump on it, and take it for myself. The price was roughly about $45.00 including shipping. I remember when I sent the money through paypal, and hoping that my friend would love this steal. Well..unfortunately after about a good 3 three weeks, the item never arrived. I sent the member numerous emails through Ebay, and my account. I finally got a hold of him when I yelled at him, saying that I would file a fraud notice on ebay and with paypal. This usually always works with these kinds of culprits. The member brought up a bunch of crap about not being able to take orders, and how they were on vacation. I still do not understand how you could leave an item up for that short period of time, while having fresh auctions arrise and just happen to be on vacation. By the end of it all, he ended up not refunding me and proceeded to ignore my emails. I did not get my money back, and I did not receive the cool item for my friend's birthday. That pretty much wrecked my month's worth of time, and now unusable money.
