I used to always pay for everything with cash, but the older I got the more I depended on credit/debit cards. My sister and I had a shared business account which contained the bulk of our money, so we would use the debit card fairly often. It wasn't until we went over our finances that we realized about three hundred dollars was missing, and the description on our bank statement was "Online Groceries". Since we've never bought food online before, we called up the bank to find out what it was. They said that the purchase was made in Quebec, Canada weeks earlier. Considering neither of us had ever even been to Canada, we started a dispute file and the bank refunded the money after a few days. While the case is still pending, the bank (Wachovia) still gave us the benefit of the doubt.
