Now we and my mom have had this problem for a long time. She's 35 and I'm 17. Sometimes we have the same style of clothing but then at other we have the exact oppsite sence of style. Now for me fashion is something I love and I make it my world sometimes. So, when it comes to shopping we have one too many problems. We both like to shop any where that isn't that expensive (like Wal Mart, Kmart, JcPenny, or Sears). Usually we go shopping together which I have no problem with (I love my mom) and everytime we go to any store that I like but she doesn't she get mad, always starts saying "I'm not going in there" or "I won't pay for anything" but either way I walk in the store. I might start looking at the t-shirt, sweaters, jeans, anything and she's right behind me watching me with an angry face that I went in the store even though she won't buy me anything. I start trying on clothes and while I'm trying them on she's in another part of that same store looking at the dresses, shirts, and jeans. She never wants to admit it but she does like the clothes at the stores. So when I see her looking at shirts and wanting to try it on I rub it on her face and she just laughs.

Now lately, my moms fashion is coming back in style and we both adore skinny jeans and low flats. So we're always heading to Payless to look at any of the new flats. One problem is me and my mom don't have the same shoe sizes which to me that doesn't matter I still make my feet fit on a 6.5-7 shoe size when I'm a 7.5 shoe size, which is incredible how my feet fit in her flats or heels. Second when I like some sort of flat they don't have on my size they only have it on her's or vice versa. The first time I wore one of her heels the heel broke and she was so furious at me. Later I stretch out another favorite pair of heels, so lately I have decided to completely STOP wearing her flats.

Now when it comes to jeans that's another problem. My mom is the type of women that has to go shopping all day. She can go to 2 types of mall and all the stores around for 1 pair of jeans. She is very picky when it comes to jeans. And unfortunetly I have the same problem. We might like probably 5 pair of jeans or even more but when we try them on we don't even like 1 pair of jeans. We try on every single pair of jeans in the store and leave empty handed because we didn't like anything. Problem huh?

Another thing is our shirts to go out. I love holter tops, tank tops, and t-shirts. I'm always looking at those, which makes her want to look at them too. Having the same size with shirts comes as a good benifit but as a bad one too. Usually I have no problem if she borrows one of my shirts when she has nothing to wear at work EXCEPT for when I want to wear the same one. It drives me crazy because even though is my shirt she says "Oh well I put it on first." So I get so angry at her that I do the same thing to her at times. We're always arguing about who's shirt it was really at first. We can stay at it for hours until we decide to say "Who likes it more?" Isn't that what you call a war?

Not sure if I will have time to comment tomorrow before the voting closes, so I wanted to tell you that no matter what the outcome of this contest, each of you are winners. I commend you on taking the time, out of your busy lives, to share the information that you have about your daughter(s) or mom(s). I have read so many inspiring messages. Be proud, be happy, and when given a choice always take the high road. Blessings!
