Oh, man. When I saw this contest I KNEW that I HAD to enter.
My dachshund boys, Bailey and Charles Dickens are super
super
spoiled.
Bailey (the little red one) is two years old, his birthday is June 29th.
Charles Dickens (the larger black and tan dapple) is 1, but his birthday is coming up soon on September 11th!
For their birthdays they get, no joke, STEAK! And ice cream!
Yep, there is doggy ice cream! It is called "Frosty Paws" and can be found in the freezer section of the grocery store!
Both of my sweethearts came from the DRNA, which is the Dachshund Rescue of North America. They came from bad backgrounds, so I want to give them the best of this good life they have been given!
They only eat high grade food
formulated especially for dachshunds
,
they drink bottled (or filtered) water
They only receive super high grade treats.

They have, collectively, 10 sweaters, 2 raincoats, 2 tank tops (one says "top dog" One says "Ladies love me") 2 pairs of weather proof doggie booties, 2 hawaiian shirts, 2 harnesses by weenie in the window (which cost $40+ each!), 2 harnesses by Puppia, 8 collars, 6 halloween costumes and 5 bandanas.
Throughout the house, there are 5 dog beds-
They even have their own Miniature COUCH!!
They also have special doggy stairs to help them easily access the couch and the bed!
When these pups ride in the car- they ride in style! They have their very own raised carseats (with buckles that attach to their harnesses- for safety) So that their little selves can see out the window!
Not enough?
This is just a FRACTION of their toys! (yes, the big dog on top is theirs, too!)
So, those are my spoiled boys...
but believe me, the love that they give in return is WELL worth it!
