Everyone strives to find a profession they are truly passionate about.  I mean, who really wants to wake up dreading the day ahead of them?  Not me, that's for sure.  I have had my share of those jobs.  Although they do make for good stories, I am glad I am finally making my dream come true.  My dream of becoming a Broadcast Meteorologist.

To make this dream come true, I recently enrolled at MSU's Broadcast Meteorology Distance Learning Program so I can work full time while attending school.  I am only a half of a semester in but find the material absolutely fascinating and spend most of my free time studying and reading so I can fully grasp every concept presented.  For example, if you would like to know why the sky is blue or how hurricanes are formed just ask me!  Basically, meteorology consumes me, I even literally dream about it at night.  Just last night I had a dream I was at my old sales job, half way through a sale, and quit to become a meteorologist.

So here's the deal... I am having a hard time paying for school since I am paying for it all myself.   There are just not enough hours in the week to work as much as I would like to!  I get to work at 6:45am and do not get home until 7pm, and then it is time to study.  I cannot give up on this dream, I just can't.  I am not eligible scholarships because I am not an in-state student, not full-time, and not an entering freshman. This is why I am hoping this fabulous Tommy Hilfiger Campaign will find this blog and be able to help me out!  All of the money would go directly to school because it is a three year program- Fall, Spring and Summer semesters.  Ok, ok, I'll be honest SOME of the money would go to purchase some wonderful items from the amazing Tommy Hilfiger line (like the plug?  I tried!). 

I am your average girl striving for more in life, but it seems like the "middle of the road" always gets overlooked when it comes to grants and scholarships.  However, it doesn't make my passion and drive any less.  What keeps me going is that someday I want to be able to give my parents and four younger siblings everything that they deserve!

I hope that you find this dream worthy and choose me as the winner so I can continue my education and give Brickfish and Tommy Hilfiger a shout out on national television when I am a broadcast meteorologist for the Weather Channel!
