I recently returned from a mission trip to India. I visited an orphanage housing over 200 children. When I got home I was inspired to make a difference. I started an organization called Chanan (ka-non) which means gracious in hebrew. This organization is my dream. I want to be able to fully fund seven different orphanages around the world. I want to be able to visit each orphanage at least once a year to build relationships with all the children and the people who are spending their lives devoted to these kids. My heart goes out to every lost, abandoned and mistreated child. I hope to some day help provide a safe place for these children to grow up and see what its like to be wanted by those around them. I started this organization in July 2008. Since then I have been able to hold one benefit to raise money to build an orphanage in India. The benefit raised $2000 and it was so fulfilling to send that money to them and hear about how much joy it has brought.  I spend all my spare time working on ways to get Chanan out there and let people know of the urgent needs these kids have. Please help me fulfill my dream to allow the orphans of the world to be able to dream their own dreams.
