MY COLLEGE MUST-HAVES!

College is an example of pure mental madness!!!! It causes stress and in tern there are essentials to survival. Considering the fact that I'm enrolled in a Private Art College, my essentials are slightly different.

MONEY

As most would say, and with good reason, money is the most important must-have for college. Not only for tuition, lab fees and supplies. But also for gas, food and living expenses. When attending a private college such as mine, the cost goes up dramatically in comparison to other school. At an average total cost of $100,000 for a bachelor's degree, I can use all the help I can get in the money department. Hooray, I couldn't be more excited for debt!!!

MACBOOK PRO

Clocking in as my second most essential must-have is a laptop. Not just any laptop though! Of course being an art student only a Macbook Pro will suffice. Amped up with an intel duo-core processor @ 2.6GHZ, with 4GB's RAM and a 200GB hard drive @7200 RPM. Beasty, glorious and majestic. Prepared for destruction and optimal peak performance for running programs such as Adobe Photoshop CS3. Essential for completing school projects and being the teachers pet for always turning in projects early. But most of all for maintaining ones sanity with hysterical online videos and comic strips.

COFFEE

Number three on my list, also for maintaining ones sanity, is coffee. COFFEE, COFFEE, COFFEE!!! Coffee makes the world go 'round!! Especially helpful for those early classes that actually require ones attention. Along with my morning sanity, coffee helps to keep me chipper and pleasant through out the day. Also, if one happens to be slacking or behind in work, coffee is a middle-of-the-night pick-me up. Best for keeping me up through out the night to complete school work. Therefor, making my college experience, truly worth while.

CAMERA

My next must have is a camera. I am attending college for a bachelor's degree in photography. So I absolutely, no question, need a fantastic digital SLR, to one up me in the game. To put me ahead of everyone else in class. However, being the poor college student that I am, I lack the funds to step on the lillie pad heads of my toad like peers. I will catch that fly!!! Not only is a camera essential for school, but of course for taking pictures of my years in college for ever lasting memories!

GOOD HEALTH

At last, my final college must-have, good health. For an individual prone to sickness my whole life, having good health is essential for being a successful student. After surviving a rare and deadly disease at ate 11, I discovered how difficult it can be to maintain ones education while spending months on end in a hospital. I'm simply one of those individuals who is prone to bad health. I have terrible seasonal allergies, along with allergic reactions to random things. Migraines and problems breathing because of asthma are all too frequent. But most of all are my serious stomach problems and circulation through my body. I have a terribly weak immune system. I have to watch what I eat. I often lose sleep, can't concentrate because of pain and literally catch every common cold to pass me within a 3 mile radius. To maintain my health I need plenty of vitamins, herbal medicinal teas and always plenty of sleep. So to ultimately make my student life more bearable, good health is definitely one of my must-haves, also to ultimately survive college and be successful.

So in conclusion, I have explained to you in great detail my college MUST-HAVE's. Strange as they may be, they're most definitely essential to my survival and would undoubtedly make my student life bearable.
