Ha! What do I do to pamper my pet? I don’t have a pet. My world revolves around, you guessed it - me! I could not possibly pay attention to a “pet.” Instead, I am the pampered pet. I am so pampered, my human is allowing me to enter the Brickfish Pampered Pet contest myself.
When I asked my human what SHE does to pamper me, SHE just laughed. I heard HER say to HIM that SHE does not pamper me. HE disagreed (how dare he!).
“Let me count the ways,” HE said, and I think of bad poetry, even giving a sarcastic meow in the process.
“One...the cat has her own blog.
Two...she has you trained to put food in her bowl when she wants it.
Three...you allow her to sleep on your pillow.
Four...you tolerate her waking you up in the middle of the night when she wants attention. If only I were so lucky...
And five...the big FIVE...not only do you allow her to sleep on your pillow (I remind you of number three), you allow her to sleep on your head - yes, you, you with the cat allergy.”
SHE rolled her eyes at HIM, as per normal.
I however, think those five reasons are my given right. Hardly pampered at all. HE continues to disagree. What do you think?
