This song is about awareness - don't spend your life in a haze, not knowing what you even believe, or who you are, as a person. It's a realization that I have spent so much time - time that I can never get back - doing things that benefitted neither me nor anyone else. What a waste! This, therefore, is the time where I ought to be applying myself and doing what I can, while it is still in my power to do so. We need to stop dreaming, and start acting.
