Description:
I respect Obama, but I don't like him. I disagree with his views and his party. I honestly don't think he is fit to run America. I just pray that he makes the right choices, or we very well could end up like this.

Well I happen to believe that Obama makes more sense than our last president, and I'm quite relieved we have someone with a brain to run our country. He's working his tail off doing in the past two months way more than Bush has in eight years... oh well if you count sending us to war and killing our economy "doing something". I worked for Obama's campaign countless hours and had a lot of fun doing it.
I can't tell you how long I researched Obama during the election, the choice was clear-cut and very easy to make, am I going to support someone who hunts wolves ruthlessly, and cares solely for her outfits and someone who doesn't know which way is up? OR am I going to give this guy who wants change in this country, something we desperately needed, and give him a chance because his views make perfect sense if you have an education over elementary school. The choice was a very easy one to make, and I hope you all come to your senses as well.

And I'm PROUD to be a democrat with a brain.

The next four years remains to be seen. I am proud to be a Republican and back George Bush for the last eight years of success!!!

So you are telling me that abortion is alright? You're also telling me that spending $4 trillion dollars for a stimulus plan that "might" work is ok? Let me remind you that a lot of the money in the stimulus plan is going toward government vehicles- they already have enough of that. If Obama wants a new car that bad, he should buy it on his own. You also think it is alright to end a war overseas that won't end regardless if we leave or not? If we leave, they will come over here. It will give them tons of time to build up their nuclear program we are trying to diminish. Do you also think it's ok that we spend our own hard earned tax money on people who refuse to work for a living and cheat the system? That's what democrats believe in. I personally believe that our money should not go to those people. They need to work, too.

I have just started a political science class at my school. I recently learned the difference between a democrat and a republican. During the election I went back and worth with whom I would vote for. I am not the kind of person who thinks that being a democrat is right and a republican is wrong. Or that being a republican is right and a democrat is wrong. Strong and educated men like Barack Obama who can form such logical and well organize ideas to better my country will always recieve my respect. No two people are alike so disagreeing with some of Obama's views are natural for any human being. I have however become very excited to see what his plans are of rour country in the next few years.

Don't worry, it's not a crime to be a rebublican. It makes perfect sense, and I agree with your reasoning for disliking him. If other people can't comprehend that, it is no fault of yours. I'm confident that you are well educated in your opinion, so good luck. :)

Ok you sound really ignorant. This is 2009, so don't even try to use race as an excuse. Grow up! And second of all, you obviously don't know too much about our past presidents (or our current one for that matter). Do some research and see just how many democratic presidents sent us to battle. You just don't like what this person said because you jumped on the media deciding bandwagon like everybody else did and voted for Obama because you were easily manipulated to do so. You probably know only what the news has said and what others around you have said.

No. Like I stated above, I don't like him because I don't agree with his views nor his party. I'm a republican, not a democrat. PLEASE DO NOT ASSUME that people don't like him because he's black. I am not racist in anyway. It's his views. I don't agree with them. So please check your stuff before you accuse.

You probably don't even know his views. You probably don't even know your own views. You are just a republican. Probably because someone told you to be one. You should be specific about what views of his you don't agree with.

The reason I am republican is because I think that it is not fair that we should have to pay taxes on those who don't support themselves, when they very well could. That's why I think that welfare and social security need to go. We should not pay for those who chose to use the system to their advantage and get every little thing in their lives free. The only ones who should be on social security are those who HAVE WORKED their whole lives and are retired. And yes, I DO know my own views. You need to quit being critical and coming to assumptions because I don't like Obama. That's very rude. You could have asked about them, not assumed that I can't think for myself. You really need to get yourself straight. The views I don't agree with are all of them. Here are a few of them: Abortion- IT'S WRONG. If you get pregnant, you should keep your baby, not claim its life for your own selfish reasons. Obama is also spending our tax dollars on abortions overseas. Same principle goes to them as well. If you want to have sex that badly, then suffer the consequences. The War: Obama wants to withdraw all troops. Very stupid move. That gives them more time to build up against us and then 9/11 will happen again. We've been against Iraq for nearly 30 years now. I know it needs to quit, but we can't just give in like Obama wants. That gives them time to focus on their nuclear programs. It's like Obama wants us killed. Social Security- We need to keep things private. Spreading social security throughout the nation and sharing it evenly isn't fair to those WHO ACTUALLY WORK. I don't work my ass off to pay for those who chose not to. If they want to be lazy and not work, then they should be the ones to suffer, not the hard workers. Want to hear more? PLEASE ASK. QUIT ACCUSING AND ASSUMING.
