Photo -  Submitted for:  Seeing Things in Black and White
Goodbye my love
Description:
My friend, Kate. We wanted to do something a little different, something risky, for a photo shoot. So we took some pictures on train tracks. I think that this picture looks better in black and white because it brings out the textures of the train tracks and rocks, and Kate has a good contrast between her and the background. Funny thing though, while I was shooting, an actual train was coming! So we had to run off of the tracks. We had fun though.

This photo looks better than some of the "professional" photos I have seen! The contrast is amazing, and your subject is beautiful!

would have been perfect if her pose was more flattering and her foot wasnt cut off. also if the background wasnt too dark....try playing with photoshop and maybe dodge the background to bring out more texture...

These are excuse notes from parents (with their original spelling) collected by schools from all over the country:

1) Please excuse Burma, she has been sick and under the doctor.
2) Irving was absent yesterday because he missed his bust.
3) Please excuse Jimmy for being. It was his father's fault.
4) I kept Billie home because she had to go Christmas shopping because I don't know what size she wears.
5) Please excuse Jennifer for missing school yesterday. We forgot to get the Sunday paper off the porch, and when we found it Monday, we thought it was Sunday.

The contrast in the photo, the lighting and her hair color really make this picture stand out in a crowd. The concept and idea behind this photo is one of a kind. One of the best entries by far, best of luck!
