Why isn't this ranked higher?? It has way more voes than numbers 4,5, and 6. What is up with the whole scoring thing?

Dear friends... I would like to thank you all for showing my sister your enthusiastic support. In my mind, although the objective of this contest is to be granted a scholarship, I believe it to be so much more. Through the unwavering support of our family...through the repetitive site visits from our friends...and perhaps most importantly, through the kindness and warmth shown by total strangers...we have all become a little closer to each other in a very special way. My siblings and I have always believed strength in quality and not in numbers...how beautiful it is that you have shown us both. They say "A picture is worth a thousand words" but a thousand couldn't possibly cover the hard work and dedication this picture's story has to show. In an instant, with a simple shutter of a lens, what you see is what you don't see. I could spend countless pages talking about what Rachel has gone through to get me and my family to where we are now. I could talk about how, at many of life's corners, people told Rachel to take the cards life dealt her and fold. I could talk about how Rachel came to be my first best friend...but I'll save that for her to tell you in your friendships to come. Will my sister win this contest? It's hard to say. Hi baby something is wrong with the system. Why is it that with so many people voting you went back to 7! I think Brickfish would have to investigate this and make sure all votes are accounted for. we just got kicked out of #6 to #7. #6 currently 14,559 votes but last night when I signed off we were #6 with $15,500 votes. So we dropped so many votes Very disappointing. Rach, whatever happens we will keep voting. You are still a winner no matter what!

Hmmm IM thinking this:THey can track the votes and if you vote from one computer more than your suppose to it will count them and then take them away because they are NOT VALID its to stop cheating. If you ask brickfish they may tell you

Ava, We actually e-mailed Brickfish about this situation weeks ago -- it actually started being apparent that my numbers (in general) were fluctuating intensely, within the first day of voting. While they cannot give us the specifics of the criteria for voting, they simply stated that traffic on the site, viral etc. has the ability to change the score-- (Ie, the more people travel to this page at once = increased score.. dead time = decreased score). okay, something is wrong with the numbers! When I left the vote, it was at 16,500 (#5 spot). I still kept voting and my votes were not being counted....so I thought I would shut my pc off and vote again later on. So, I open up the PC and it is now at 14,197. This happened yesterday, too The number was over 15,000 then it went down way below that. Something is wrong with the counter....can someone explain what is happening.

I am not sure what is going on! Is there a glitch in the system ! I have been watching the score all night and it is going down for some reason. Hopefully someone can look into this.

This is very upsetting! Yes she might not make it to 1 but we certainly hope we can make sure the votes are getting counted correctly. A lot of people is counting on helping her move up...dont dissapoint by incorrectly giving vote count!!!

Hi baby! that was so beautiful.. How touching and true. It is such a blessing how you all my nieces and nephew to grow such wonderful people.
