Destination Romance Malaysia
Description:
I finally have permission to marry my dreamgirl. She’s Malaysian and I want our wedding to combine both cultures. Our colors are champagne, her fav color & red means good luck in Asia. She will get an extra gown ‘coz in Asia, they change for reception. The day begins with a tea ceremony (Asian wedding). Then we will go to a Malaysian beach for a Western ceremony. The ocean symbolizes the 9,000mi between us. There’ll be 6 groomsmen & 6 bridesmaids to make 7 couples, a holy number. The reception– 10-course dinner (Asian) & dancing (Western). Dancing is not common in Asian weddings. I wanted it because my girl did not dance until she met me. I taught her to swing dance & we love to slow dance.

John, I am so happy for you and Jeanette. I pray and hope you will have your dream wedding come true. This is a wonderful way to creatively combine our family and country’s culture with Jeanette’s. I am very proud of you! Our culture plus Jeanette's culture equals this beautiful wedding and life together.

I really feel that the winning couple did not do NEARLY as nice of a job as you in describing how they planned to make their wedding unique - if barely at all. I honestly feel that you guys should have been chosen, if not among the top contenders. I'm sure you will still have a beautiful wedding and best of luck to you both!

hey, lil brother. Hey you did a really good job writing up the description--- better than these girls did. You got heart--- and you're a romantic. I'm looking forward to going to you there with my new wife. And I heard we're all going on the honeymoon with you.

I think it is neat how your wedding will be such a cool reflection of your relationship. Also, it is super cool how you will educate people of both cultures by doing the wedding combo-style! I hope that Robert and I will get to be there! Love you guys!
