Description:
taken while volunteering in a small village in armenia. this village suffered great damage during the earthquake in 1988. they still have yet to rebuild much of the damage. we used bucket brigades for everything. the floors were filled with large rocks & then cement (sand & cement mix) was brought in to finish. the walls were leveled by placing screws in the walls & slapping cement (grabbing some in your hand & throwing it against the wall) until you reached the head of the screw. All electrical wires were exposed. the stairs on this home collapsed on us while attempting a group picture... House #2
