live inspired
Description:
During my childhood my dad was always my inspiration. When I was younger my dad was a volunteer counselor at a camp for abused kids who ended up in the foster system. I always admired him for participating in such a great cause so when I was old enough to do the same, I signed up without a thought. I have continued to work at the camp for years and I never would have gotten involved with it if my dad had not inspired me to do so. Through the camp I grew to have a heart for hurting kids and I am now going to school to be a teacher. When I graduate I want to work at an inner city school to impact the lives of hurting kids like my dad has inspired me to do.

That is a heartwarming story to hear how your father touched your life in such a way that you know want to follow in his footsteps. I love that you are inspired to love and help others. Continue to follow your dreams to become a teacher.
