Doggie
Description:
The best toy I ever got...really, the best toy EVER, was Doggie. He isn't much to look at now, but back then he was something! I had just turned five, and was living in a foster home. I didn't have a thing that was really mine. That Christmas Eve, my case worker came with a very nice lady with beautiful long, red hair. She was my new mommy! She brought toys for all the kids in my home, but she had something special, just for me. It was Doggie! He is a floppy, stuffed dog with big eyes and one long brown ear. Actually, he had two ears when we started, but one was lost by accident before I left my foster mom. Each night I waited, I hugged Doggie and say a prayer for my new life. Too cool!

Wow, I got teary eyed reading your story. It's amazing when you're given a gift that you truly cherish. I can tell how wonderful of a guy you are, and that you don't take anything for granted. This is an incredibly touching story! It brought both tears to my eyes and a smile on my face (however, not quite as big as the one on your face.) It looks as if you're actually remembering your Doggie! I wish you had a photo of you and Doggie with one ear. That would've been over the top. Even w/out it, you've got my support!
