Unexpected
Description:
This photo was taken on a field trip, when it was pouring rain outside and everyone was rushing from exhibit to exhibit, trying their best to avoid getting soaked. I stumbled across the courtyard, as I too was trying to avoid the rain, only to see the calming effects this place had with its crimson-leaves covered awnings. The rain made the place more surreal than I could have imagined. I managed to take this picture until my friends ushered me away. It's one of my favorite pictures because it reminds me even when you least expect you can still find something capivating and beautiful in the most unlikely circumstances.

WEEKLY REVIEW: "March is a month of considerable frustration - it is so near spring and yet across a great deal of the country the weather is still so violent and changeable that outdoor activity in our yards seems light years away." ~ Thalassa Cruso
