Description:
This photo has my mother and father on each end. The 4 smaller children are my newphews and niece. My niece was born without a right thigh and my father made her first pair of crutches. I am standing next to my mother, 2nd from the right. This photo was taken around 1950! My mother is wearing a flour sack apron!

Personal History is such a wonderful thing. BF needs a vintage photo campaign. Can you imagine what the young people on this site could learn? These little blurbs are so much more important than what they can learn in a history class.

this picture was taken one day when my oldest brother and his family was visiting us. my second oldest brother is the only one who is not in the picture as he was not there that day. i am the only daughter in a family of 5 children and caught in the middle.
