I absolutely LOVE it!!! The color and detail is so crazy. And in the background how the faces of the animals just pop out like that. With this piece of art work, one can't just take a glimps at it. I was staring at it 4 so long. So much just jumps out at me and grabs my attention. The more I stared at it the more I saw. I can go on 4ever but ima cut it short here.lol. I love this piece. Great entry! Kepp up the good work!!!

It really is a beautiful piece, the color is outstanding. I'd say the anatomy of some of the profiles in the picture could use a little work, but beside that, I think you deserve the win and I concede gracefully. I'd like to see some more of your work! Leave a comment on my profile if you wanna talk.

Awesome value and color. The foreshortening and the bird's eye makes this piece so much more mystical. I would definitely be interested in hearing your artist statement. A series of pieces like this would have most art school instructors "wowed". Career in illustration? Painting? If you haven't already, I would put further use to this technique. I don't know the dimensions of this piece, but I would love to see one at least 72"X36" in person. Congratulations.

The fact that this piece has been subject to so much controversy nails the success of this piece. One of the most general descriptions of art is anything that inflicts emotion within an audience. That is why anything can be considered art. A shut noneccentric mind will always look for realism, beauty, and complication, a subjective style of critique. Anyone who appreciates art's study of emotion will never judge a pieces success by the same elements. Congratulations artist. You've endured a very opinionated critique from other artists. Take your prize and use it well. Further your talent. Use it to provoke emotion that can make a difference.

It's good. Most of the top 100 is where you find the real crap. people just vote for voting sake. Bravo to the judges who have to sift through those thousands of poorly rendered pieces of garbage just to find the handful that show real talent. Besides this looks like the work of an Illustrator, and besides being biased in that regard they don't get enough credit anyhow.

Please keep it to yourself about there being better entries, and about the voting system, it's rigged which is why it shouldn't matter if it didn't make it to the top slots either. I'm not happy I didn't win either but it's going to happen anyways. You think that only the top 100 are going to be qualified if there is 10,000+ entries? I don't think so. And quantity should not matter either it's the value of the work and anyways art is viewed in different ways to everyone. Be open minded.

The rules DID state that the winner would be chosen from all entries. I'm not one to grouch, but it is discouraging to cultivate an entry then see one with no votes and less than 300 views win.

wtf ? I thought they only picked from the top 100 drawings? what a waste .I actually thought votes counted ,not anything against the artwork just the rules of this twisted game!

It's ok! But I sure could have used that $1,000 dollars. Hope he or she doesn't waste it! There were several better ones I think as well.

This is the grand prize winner?
Even though it has 0 votes and only 191 views?

The way they all stare off into the landscape reminds me of the novel Song of Solomon.
