not only are the colors breathtaking but i love the social political aspect. to me the lady in the cage being held represents how society ruled by men tells us what to do, what to ware and how to act baring us in and holding us back from being ourselves. your technique looks flawless and the fact anyone can see a powerful message in it to me is evidence of an amazing mind. You go girl! =]

First of all, thank you for your review on my "scars" entry. It is nice to get a real review.....I can see my entry and your piece of art working together quite well. We seem to have the same perception of how life can take turns and be controlling without even knowing it. I did notice the "possible cage" in the background before I read your description, that is what drew me into this entry. Cages only exist if you let them contain you, so I feel it is always best to look beyond the obvious and see all of life's offerings from different angles than what is deemed to be normal. Not only is this a beautiful piece of art, but it has so many perceptions and has the potential to stir many emotions, and that is what art is all about. Great entry, and good luck!
