Modern Day Medicine Man
Description:
Mediums: Watercolours. (12''x16'') This is a portrait of my dear friend, Lee (from a local San Francisco band called, Immigrant). The colours I used were inspired by their live shows, their vivid songs, and most importantly Lee himself. He and the band are amazing. I'm planing to go to an art university next year in the fall to study illustration and continue to use traditional mediums. Check them out: www.immigrantmusic.com

its very iconic, this would be awesome on a t-shirt! your technique is just so cool i dont even know what to say about it. its so perfectly stylized, and i dont think it would be as cool if his other shoulder was painted in. :)

This is one of my favorites. I love the composition and how you only partially revealed his shoulders. The saturation of color is brilliant and gives him a sense of regalness; it even suggests this character has a rather "colorful" and vibrant personality. Amazing!
