Stop and Smell the Roses
Description:
When people have schedules as completely filled as mine, it is easy to forget to "stop and smell the roses," or to simply appreciate the little things that make life beautiful and worth living. Sometimes I am afraid that it might not be worthwhile to stray from the unforgiving schedule I follow, but when I just take a moment to soak in the beauty of the world around me, I am reminded of why I work so relentlessly towards my 4.0 GPA, State Championships in track and field, and overall success in life.
