You have a great entry—lovin’ it. Without leaps of imagination, or dreaming, we lose the excitement of possibilities. Dreaming, after all, is a form of planning.--Gloria Steinem

Historical Truth--Most people got married in June because they took their yearly bath in May, and still smelled pretty good by June. However, they were starting to smell, so brides carried a bouquet of flowers to hide the body odor. Hence the custom today of carrying a bouquet when getting married.

Today I'm blogging the Gas Carders: Some of you are too young to remember when you would pull into a gas station and someone would come out and would pump your gas for you! You would pull up and say $5.00 worth the ethyl or filler her up! The kids would be in the back seat with the windows down smelling the fumes in the air, today we would be called drug addicts--we didn't know any better back then. They would even give you a memento like a collectors glass of some sort! They would check your oil for and actually add some if you were low! The problem with gas stations today is there is NO MORE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE! That ended with self serves. They way they got you was by enticing you to pump your own gas they made the self serves cheaper so you would want to save that extra 5 cents a gallon! Well that's gone too--now you pay the same price as everyone else and you still have to pump it yourself! What a racket!
