Description:
Brandon & I aren't the typical "love at first sight" story. I had no desire to even date him, but somehow I fell right onto his lap with open arms! I realized he was my "One Love" when my dad admitted he liked him! He's never liked any of my boyfriends. Brandon is different than most men I've dated. We're complete opposites, yet we complete each other.

Groom's Cake--Word on the street was that a Groom's Cake was a fine Southern tradition borne from the groom's desire to share devil's food cake with his friends. They escaped to the parlor to take a drink, smoke a cigar, and eat chocolate cake. If the weather was nice, they might even shoot skeet from the front porch! Today there are many forms of Groom Cake and how it is served.

Historical Truth--Most people got married in June because they took their yearly bath in May, and still smelled pretty good by June. However, they were starting to smell, so brides carried a bouquet of flowers to hide the body odor. Hence the custom today of carrying a bouquet when getting married.
