I'm voting for Lauren because she is an amazing women and an even better friend!! In the 15 years that I've know her she's never once thought of herself before others, and even gone out of her way to put others needs above her own. I've learned so much just from knowing her! I can only hope that I will be the kind of mother that she has been, and that I will have the same genuine, open, and loving relationship with my daughter as she has with her boys. She is a fighter, a true SURVIVOR!!!

I vote for Lauren because she is a model survivor and has made me a better person just by basking in her glow! But further, today I vote for Lauren because I believe she is truly a conduit, an blessing beyond words. Yesterday, I was knocked to my knees in a personal tragedy and as I was preparing to curl up in the fetal position, the phone rang and it was Lauren. Always with a ready ear, despite her own trials, always ready with the right thing to say and always makes me feel like she has all the time in the world, despite the fact that she is managing a household, motherhood, cancer treatment and so much else.

Wow! First off i am soo proud of you and you holding on! Thats amazing!!!!
My granny was put through the same thing...but sadly she didnt make it...it was 8 years ago...and all i can think about is...wow..now they have cures..a few years ago they didnt! She went through so much stuff...and she could have lived! But now that i know shes in a better place..its ok, and now its breast cancer awareness month..my actions have changed..i wear pink all the time..when i see something with breast cancer..i immdediately get it!
Again..im so proud of you for hanging on...your kids be so very very happy to have you where ever they accomplish your dreams!
