The reason they want to ban the pits is the fault of humans, stupid people who think it is cool to have a potentially "dangerous" animal. Pits can be very sweet as any other dog, but in the wrong hands they can be threatening. Maybe they should ban certain people from having them, instead of banning the breed.

I am a former owner of a Rottie and i can tell you... it is NOT the dog to blame but the owners...my dog was a guard dog ..but in the same token we knew where and when the dog could be around people or not..a dog is like a child in the sense it needs guidance ..it will only do what its instinct is accustom to. People have to remember a dog is an Animal...it is not human and has animal instincts...my dog pass away now but he kept us safe because WE taught him what he was suppose to do..in the event of a problem...BUT WE also knew bountries...The people who do the wrong thing should be band from a society that knows the difference between WRONG from RIGHT, they are to blame...not a dog who is only acting in the nature God Created him to..
