It came as a dream one night as I slept
Standing on the dock
Blue eyes lighting my path
With a breeze gently kissing waves of brown
Slowly our bodies move closer
You take my hand and draw me near
Body to body we sway to the sound
Of a river moving against a golden sky
We let the words dictate our every movement
Listen to them say,
"Here is your second chance, take it and fly."

Making this dream come to life
That is something to cling to
Until the time this dream is a reality
We meet each night as I close my eyes
A few fleeting moments of,
Sweet Dreams of Dancing on the Dock.

What is this, a campaign about only what women dream about? What about my dreams of laying in fields of broccoli, with little gnome people tending the garden and serving delicious smoothies made of that most wonderful of all veggies? What about that? Oh, sorry...I get a little carried away at times. I too am a fan of all forms of poetry, and this is a beautiful example of how the subconscious mind can affect how we feel in our waking moments.
