Sunset on Lows Lake
Description:
I have gone on canoe trips to Lows Lake in the Adirondacks with my father for the past six years. After a strenuous eight mile paddle to reach campsite 18, we were rewarded with this amazing sight. The sound of the ripples lapping at the beach combined with this view has made Lows Lake the most relaxing and beautiful place in the world I have ever visited.

Excellent photo. I love how the sun and its reflection just pulls the viewers eye to the middle of the page. Definetly shows the beauty of the planet, you have my vote.

I like that the photographer did not find something in the foreground to frame the picture. Such framing looks nice but too posed. This picture is breathtakingly serene.

I am very appreciative of the way that the photographer is able to strike a balance between the breathtaking lake and the amazing view of the mountains, all while keeping the sun right in the center of attention... It is very calming and peaceful.

The combination of the sky and water gives me the feeling of eternity. Truly a peaceful place on earth.

Excellent photo. It looks as though you waited for everything to come together perfectly before preserving it.
