I run so you can achieve YOUR dreams. Don’t get me wrong, I love the feel of the wind on my face, the ground passing mile-by-mile under my feet, and the pride from expanding my body’s capabilities. But I get the biggest reward from inspiring others to achieve their full running potential. Because while every Run is by default a solitary event pitting you against the terrain, against the weather, and against your expectations it is also part of a larger community activity. Welcome to my community. I will help punch YOUR ticket to Boston as a marathon Pace Leader or inspire you to press your finish line kick and HOLD ME OFF in a local 5k. Too bad the rules wouldn't let me submit my 2008 Chicago Marathon Pace Team photos of me carrying the giant sign for 26.2 miles at 8:00/mile pace (no other people allowed in photo). But I added one to my profile photos if you are interested.
