A few good men
Description:
This is three generations of men in my family. My Father, myself and my son. My father had a hard life and was forced to grow up rather quickly because his father left his mother and five children to fend for themselves. My father took on the role of man of the house. I have always looked up to my father even when we didn't see eye to eye. I'll never forget the day I left for the Army it was the first time I ever heard my father say he loved me(I guess we always had that implied). He worked hard to provide for his children and taught us that hard work would result in a better life for each of us. He was hard on us but in the end I think it made me a better person. My dad is my hero.

Love seeing the 3 generations! My Dad took many years to say those 3 words also and when you hear them it is like the heavens opened and smiled down on me, that is why I tell my kids many, many times a day that I love them! Your Dad sounds amazing and cherish him always! =]

what a wonderful and strong father you have there. He's someone who knows what people needs and is willing to sacrifice to give it to them. That's why I tend to like the older generation of people in how they are raised as compared to the newer generation (Of course with some exceptions). But people generally stood up to the plate and did what they had to rather than now most kids just don't care about anything except for what they want...I said most not all. There is still a small-ish yet larger portion that still stands up to the plate. Good luck and Wonderful times with your father!
