I hope more people donate their hair but sometimes you do have to be careful where places put that locks of love sign up because they sometimes aren't with them they just put it up to look respectable and to get more business. I found that out the hard way once. My hair was down to my thigh and I had it cut to my shoulder blades and they totally just threw my hair away.
