Faith
Description:
Through God,all obstacles can be overcome. This story proves that statment to be true. My life at the age of 14 was practically perfect,or so it seemed to me. Since I was home educated,I was extremely close to my family. Then out of nowhere,my father suddenly passes away. Everything changed. It took me into a spiraling depression. My life was filled with fear and saddness. By turning to God and prayer, my life has had a complete turn around. In this story you will see me go from hoplessly lost. To being filled with a new passion for life, and a new reason to live.

I have a similar story. I'm sorry for your loss. My mother was ill from the time before I was even born. I always knew that she wasn't going to see me grow old. But I didn't know that it wasn't going to be her illnesses that took her life. She and my 2 brothers passed away when I was 11. I was brought up in church so I knew God was with me from the beginning. However, after they passed I lived with my great aunt and after just 6 months she passed away and that's when it all came down and I too started to spiral downward. My mom and aunt were the two people who took me to church. But after a year I turned back to my faith because Jesus was waiting for me to open my arms to him again. Now I'm living to disciple others as Christ did.

I;m sorry to hear about losing your dad. I can relate to you so well, I had lost my dad too, and felt no reason to live, until I found the power of prayer again. God lives in me and I in him. :)

I can really relate to your story. My father died at a young age also! I never really got over it! "They say those that live in the hearts of others never die" Everyone needs something to believe in. Something to hold onto to, that will get them through. I'm glad you found yours.Great book!!
