The Holy Spirit
Description:
Please full view! This photo reminds me of the Holy Spirit, how it's just ablaze and fierce, ready to instill a desire to love the world and guide us throughout our lives. Shot with Nikon D70, F11, 320 ISO, and 4s shutter speed. The photo is of dancing sparks from a bonfire. Fire is such a strong element, and a hard one to capture, as well! Enjoy, and don't forget to VOTE!

Very ethereal, in a very potent sense...An excellent depiction of a most fierce element! I am also very intrigued by your description. My aunt, a brilliant artist, had drawn something which turned out to be similar, in a way, to your photograph, and she also deemed it to be a sort of representation of the Holy Spirit. Bravo! I shall definitely vote, and frequently. A very dynamic way in which to contemplate combustion, as portrayed so vividly in your photograph: Psalm 104:4-"He makes winds his messengers, flames of fire his servants."

Very strong image, not only combining fire but also the air that it needs for combustion. Did you by any chance use a long shutter speed for this because the movement is awesome.
