Description:
My mom is the most selfless person I know. When I was growing up, she worked hard as a single mom to make sure we had everything we needed and more. She had very little time for herself, if any, but you’d never hear her complain. This is time she should be enjoying in retirement, but instead she’s raising my 15-year-old cousin as her own son. My mom is always willing to put her life on hold when we need help with the kids. She’s been retired for almost 4 years, but she hasn’t spent much time relaxing the way she deserves. She gives and gives and never expects anything in return. She deserves AT LEAST one day to herself for the selflessness she’s shown every day of her life.
